The Adconair Adiabatic combines high-performance heat recovery with innovative adiabatic cooling, setting new standards in efficiency and sustainability. With minimal energy consumption, an eco-friendly CO₂ balance, and versatile applications, it is the ideal choice for demanding environments.
The Adconair Adiabatic achieves a real counterflow ratio of over 80% and an adiabatic cooling efficiency of more than 90%. This results in significant energy savings and a substantial reduction in operating costs, while effortlessly meeting the requirements of the highest energy efficiency classes.
The heat exchanger, made of polypropylene, allows the use of pure water without chemical additives, making it environmentally friendly. Additionally, with a 60% better CO₂ balance compared to aluminium heat exchangers, the Adconair Adiabatic makes a strong contribution to sustainability and climate protection.
With various configurations – from purely adiabatic options to hybrid solutions with DX cooling – the system offers tailored solutions for every application. Whether for industrial use, healthcare facilities, or advanced building technology, the Adconair Adiabatic adapts seamlessly to individual requirements.
The use of corrosion-resistant polypropylene ensures long-lasting performance and maximum reliability. Moreover, a reverse osmosis system guarantees hygienically safe water, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
The Adconair Adiabatic employs a two-stage cooling process to pre-cool outdoor air with exceptional efficiency. The first phase involves indirect, adiabatic evaporative cooling within the initial half of the heat exchanger, where outdoor air undergoes preliminary cooling. Following this, in the second half of the heat exchanger, dew point cooling occurs. A portion of the pre-cooled outdoor air is extracted upon exiting the heat exchanger and is reintroduced as process air in a counter-flow system, where it is humidified to enable additional indirect evaporative cooling.
Unlike conventional systems, the minimum achievable temperature depends not on the wet-bulb temperature of the exhaust air but on the dew point temperature of the pre-cooled outdoor air. The process air volume flow can reach up to 50 % of the nominal flow rate and is regulated according to demand to maintain a constant supply air temperature. This is an important consideration in planning to fully harness the system's potential.
The Adconair Adiabatic handles airflow volumes of up to 50,000 m³/h, making it ideal for applications ranging from industrial facilities to healthcare environments. Its high capacity ensures efficient climate control in large spaces while maintaining excellent energy efficiency and reliability.
A key feature is the counterflow plate heat exchanger, which cools outside air indirectly using extract air without transferring moisture. With a counterflow efficiency of over 80 %, it achieves a cooling temperature difference of more than 14 K. For higher outdoor temperatures, the system can be upgraded with an integrated compression refrigeration system to cool the supply air to the desired temperature.
The Adconair Adiabatic by Menerga offers a well-thought-out solution for modern climate control demands. It combines maximum efficiency, sustainable technologies, and flexible adaptation options into a system that not only reduces operating costs but also upholds ecological responsibility.
